According to our explanation, attempts should be made to form a confederation of
(These words are a part of daily prayer of Indian Sikhs, “Hey Akaal Purkh [O Immortal being], apney Panth dey sada sahaayee daataar jeeo! [always helpful to your Panth!] Sri Nankaana Sahib te hor Gurdwareyaa{n} Gurdhaamaa{n} dey [Sri Nankaana Sahib and other Gurdwaras and places of the Guru], jinhaan ton Panth noon vichhorheyaa gya hai [from which the Panth has been separated], khulley darshan deedaar te sewa sambhaal daa daan Khaalsa ji noon bakhsho [bestow on the Khalsa the beneficence of unobstructed visit to and free management]“).
Such a confederation is needed for Pakistani and Bangladeshi Sikhs as well, so that they can have unobstructed visits to Gurdwaras situated in
Beside this religious aspect, such a confederation will be good for economic growth of the region. There is potential for many advantages under such an India-Pakistan-Bangladesh confederation.
8.4. True secularism in political field is the only solution to present problems in the region. At the same time, pseudo-secularism must be discarded.
(A secular state is a state or country that is officially neutral in matters of religion, neither supporting nor opposing any particular religious beliefs or practices, and has no state religion or equivalent. A secular state also treats all its citizens equally regardless of religion, and does not give preferential treatment for a citizen from a particular religion over other religions.
Theoretically, a secular state is defined as protecting freedom of religion as pursued in state secularism. It is also described to be a state that prevents religion from interfering with state affairs, and prevents religion from controlling government or exercising political power. Laws protect each individual including religious minorities from discrimination on the basis of religion. {Source [as on July 24, 2007]:- http://www.reference.com/browse/wiki/Secular_state })
8.5. Every person must be loyal to his/her own country. A traitor of his/her country gives a bad name to whole of his/her community.
8.6. Though, every person must be loyal to his/her country, s/he should avoid blind-nationalism at the same time.
